About Metafin :

- Metafin is one of the first clean-tech focused NBFCs (applied for license) in India. The company focuses on making retail loans for clean-tech products and projects.

Role:

- We are seeking a Credit Officer with prior experience in assessing creditworthiness for retail loans and managing a loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review loan requests and applications from potential customers

- Assess customers' financial status (income, expenses, business revenue) and evaluate creditworthiness using internal underwriting guidelines

- Analyze risk parameters and criteria for loan requests

- Calculate financial ratios (e.g. credit scores, expense/income ratios etc)

- Monitor performance of loan portfolio

Requirements:

- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or Accounting, with strong academic performance

- 3-5 years of experience as a loan officer, credit officer, or similar role at a leading financial services firm

- Excellent analytical skills

- Applicant should be motivated and a self-starter

- Experience using LMS or LOS platforms is a plus
