Designation: Associate Consultant/Consultant - Life Sciences Advisory (Agri Input) Location: Hyderabad Reporting to: AVP / VP Experience: 1-3 years. Job Profile: - Assisting Manager in preparing business plans for agri business companies in the area of Seed, fertilizers, agri-chemicals, farm equipments (Agro-input) - Assisting Manger in handling/conducting research agenda for seed and other input and to crosslink it with other sectors like food sectors - Supporting Manger in preparing strategic plans for the donor funded projects in the area of Agro-input value chain development, sustainable development and nutrition focus - Assisting Manager in coordinating and executing management development programs in the area of value chain management, business management and food retail management, conducted in association with Cornell University. - Plays a major role in executing and handling sponsored research projects that are managed by Sathguru involving public and private institutions and generate periodic progress report relating to such projects. - To carry out research (primary and market) and prepare periodical reports in various segments of Agro-input. - Providing support to Manager in directing client engagement and business development activities - Ensure project quality, develop recommendations, review deliverables; ensure successful project deadline achievement and client satisfaction - Preparation of Project Reports/Presentations - Ensure updating of Data Management System and Project Management Systems Candidates Profile: - The incumbent should be a Engineering/Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Food Science with MBA from top B-Schools plus significant demonstrated experience in project implementation is preferred - Superior writing and oral communication skills with a particular ability to translate scientific concepts into language easily understood by the nonscientist community. - Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to attend to detail and work independently. - Self-starter who can work under pressure, manage multiple projects and details, meet inflexible deadlines on own initiative and find creative solutions to problems.
