Role- Analyst (SAS Programmer)

Experience- 1 to 3 yrs (SAS Programming)

Location: Kolkata

Client: World’s leading Financial Services Firm/Globally Recognized

Education: Graduation and Post Graduation Quantitative/Marketing/Systems Field

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Extract and analyze data from multiple sources.

- Ensure validity and accuracy of data.

- Design and write mainframe and PC programs for portfolio performance.

- Maintain robust documentation, reporting tree, metadata & data dictionaries.

- Would also be involved in development of standard and adhoc reports.

- Perform auditing on the deliverables to maintain quality.

- Understand the context, business requirements and apply analytical thinking & techniques to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

- Work with multiple customers (internal) on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

Technical / Functional Skills:

- Strong knowledge of SAS and comfortable with advanced MS Excel, MS Access or SQL Server.

- Ability to assimilate large volumes of data and draw conclusions that are meaningful to the business

- Ability to prioritize activities while working under pressure and balance interactions/allocations within team.

- Experience in banking environment would be a plus.
