Job Description

- Provide the Commercial Insurance line of business expert advice and delivery utilising expert understanding of SAS and the Insurance Data Warehouse (IDW) structure, processes and data.

- Utilise expert SAS and Data Warehousing skills and experience to develop and maintain the components for Commercial Insurance purposes including processes, code, metadata, tables and reports

- Design and provision of solutions to complex data and SAS problems for the actuarial community, including complex SAS programming support

- Utilise SAS skills to develop SAS tools which provide solutions for difficult problems or challenges facing actuarial teams

- Manage the delivery of IDA projects, including project workload management and delivery to scope, budget and schedule.

- Manage work load to ensure that priorities set by IDA are delivered and that effort results in the best value for the community.

- Analyse and interpret systems data and reports to identify and correct performance deviations and to advise management of such issues and solutions

Desired Profile

- 6-10 years experience designing and developing highly efficient SAS code for use in automated data processing systems

- Strong experience in Base/Advanced SAS programming Designing, developing, deploying, and data structures

- Candidate will travel to Australia for 6 9 months.
