Role and the Person:
The position is at the senior management level, accordingly the purpose and critical functions would be as follows:
SBU/Overarching Purpose:
To provide authentic and hassle-free experience
Function (Dept) Purpose:
To optimise the marketing mix
Role Purpose:
To ensure the elements of the marketing mix (product, price, positioning, promotion) are activated and functional
The Key Expectations of the Role:
- Enquiries as per plan
- Continuously improving conversion rate
- Engaged vendor base
- Engaged customer base
- Plan (hypotheses driven) based approach to marketing mix-
The Competencies required to effectively take on this role:
- Understanding the concept and implications of positioning
- Knowledge of and skill in using the marketing mix
- Knowledge of market planning
- Working knowledge of sales
- Knowledge of the costs and contracts of the supply chain
- Sensitivity to evidence-based-change of hypotheses-
The Person:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Marketing
- Managerial- work-experience- in- marketing (at least 10 years) in a medium-sized organisation-
