About the Role :

- As Lead Analyst, the candidate will be leading the Family Office's efforts across its three verticals, contributing to multiple activities, right from evaluating investment opportunities to monitoring and reviewing them periodically.

Lead Analyst Capabilities :

- Ability to evaluate business strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities by studying their numbers, and those of the competition, potentially scaling up this ability to both the listed and unlisted space.

- Ability to study secondary research on specific listed stocks/other securities in the portfolio and prepare pre and post investment summary reports on each such investment.

- Ability to study primary financial statements for group and strategic investments and point out (de)growth drivers, irregularities if any, and key analytical insights on business growth.

Lead Analyst Responsibilities :

- To analyse the Market Investments portfolio data for any significant changes in pattern as well as risk/return characteristics.

- To analyse balance sheets, P&L, Cash Flow and other financial statements of group and strategic companies invested into by the Family Office and provide relevant information and recommendations based on the analysis.

- To analyse the financial statements and market comparable numbers for strategic investments being evaluated by the Family Office, across the Market, Private, and International investment verticals.

- To maintain a list of buy-and-hold stock universe for the Family Office and update buy side research on each of these stocks from time to time.

About the Candidate :

- MBA/similar with 2-3 years of experience in relevant areas involving investments analysis (equity research, wealth management, private banking, mutual funds, insurance/CA firms, etc.).

- Ability to learn on the fly and grasp things quickly so as to be able to adjust to an ever changing environment.

- Passion and fire-in-the-belly to out-perform peers and always stay ahead of the curve by increasing knowledge base and doing more than what is strictly required.

- Ability to have a deep understanding of concepts and yet give more importance to logic and reason as compared to pre-set processes and defined boundaries.
