Position: US Taxation Role (5-15 yrs.)

Location: Bangalore

As a US Tax professional you will be part of a team that implements process and technology solutions for US tax return filing compliance, and tax planning solutions. You will help design, implement, test, and maintain these technologies by teaming with various SAPRO Tax teams.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a general understanding of US C Corporate & Partnership tax and the tax compliance process, including, workpapers, 1120, 1065, 1120S of Federal & State returns

- Maintain a general understanding of US tax technical concepts and ability to perform tax research.

- Support SAPRO Tax teams through process improvement and technology development.

- Understand client needs and fact patterns and communicate with developers and tax technical experts to create functional requirement documents.

- Brainstorm and share ideas for ways to improve quality, mitigate risk, and increase efficiencies through technology and/or process solutions.

- Operate consistently in a manner that supports a "One Firm Focus" culture and values.

- Perform periodic user-focused testing using common use cases and fact patterns.

- Drives a culture of innovation, growth, and specialization by working with firm leaders, and team members to identify sustainable solutions that effectively advance the firm's business goals.

- Actively engages leaders to ensure the Firm's strategy cascades, translated, and put into action in the office.

- Works with Market Leader to develop growth strategies and go-to-market plans specific to each service line, industry, and geography, as appropriate.

- Successful candidates will have deep and meaningful relationships within the business community and will have a record of accomplishment of developing new business and leveraging trusted relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor / Master's degree in accounting or equivalent.
