SAP TM Architect

Position Purpose: Guarantees the integration consistency, coherency and the implementation of the SAP TM solution for his/her domain of expertise, being committed on the solution architecture, evolution decisions and the successful project delivery . The SAP TM Solution Architect will be proposing, designing and running relevant & consistent transportation solution to meet business needs (quality, performance & security) within the global IS landscape.

Position scope: Group / Global Projects

Duties:

- Throughout the entire program, be the partner and advisor of the Business Process Owner for each step of the solution delivery, support and deployment. Ensure that solution is fully integrated, robust and interacts with legacy system when needed.

- Responsible for the solution design and implementation of SAP TM solution fulfilling business requirements, consistent with the Company IT global architecture, ensuring robustness, performance, ergonomics, upgradability and simplicity of use. Ability to work with internal solution architects and stakeholders. Present solution approach to internal architects to enable a final design decision

- Responsible for SAP TM solution integration with SAP landscape (SAP EWM, SAP ECC and SAP GTS), with the expected quality and accordingly to the committed schedule.

- Ensure compliance with internal processes and methods

- Support to Business Roles (BPO/BPS) to facilitate good understanding and output delivery on transport perimeter

Competencies / Requirements:

- > 8 years- experience in SAP TM project. Ideally has completed a few cycles of project implementations from project kick-off to project closure in Transportation perimeter

- Master project methodology

- Mandatory functional and technical knowledge experience in SAP TM.

- Experience in working with clients implementing shipper scenarios

- Extensive hands-on experience on SAP TM modules - Order Management, Planning, Carrier selection, Charge Management, Settlement.

- Worked on domestic and international outbound and inbound processes for various transportation modes (truck FTL/ LTL, rail, ocean, multimodal etc.)

- Strong knowledge of SAP TM domestic, import and export functionalities with ability to configure SAP solution

- Strong project experience in integration between SAP TM, ECC, EWM and EM

- Worked as key contributor in at least 4 project implementations.

- Event management experience preferred.

- Experience in SAP TM 9.1 and higher preferred

- Experience in integration with SAP (especially with SAP EWM, SAP ECC, and SAP GTS)

- Knowledge of ITIL

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT, or higher.

- High business sensitivity, result oriented with ability to manage stakeholders and contractors.

- Ability to work with teams across geographical locations with various functional & technical expertise.

- Proactive, self-starter and able to take initiative

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

- Fluent English. Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work globally with diverse nationalities in a matrix environment is essential.
