Position: India SAP sales Lead

Experience: 15 to 19

Work Location: West - Mumbai/Hyderabad

The India based SAP sales head will have had demonstrated expertise in driving large SAP business specifically in India region. The candidate must be a senior sales lead familiar with SAP product, proven experience in driving large SAP business and a good insight into the entire SAP product landscape. The incumbent shall focus on supporting the India based SAP sales team and realize SAP business revenue goals as per plan. Strong background in selling SAP enterprise solutions is important. Key role dimensions would include

- Supporting and growing SAP business in India as per target and Go to Market focus;

- Meet SAP revenue targets set for India region;

- Manage and channelize the India SAP sales team to meet the India and individual sales targets

- Realize revenues from various accounts in India for SAP projects working closely with delivery leads

- Work closely with other sales team in cross selling business endeavors

- Manage the SAP India alliance relationship and should have demonstrated experience in working with SAP India field sales team.

Essential job functions :

Overall experience of over 15-18 + relevant experience (Last 5 years to be in SAP essentially)

- Demonstrated experience of selling SAP business in India / South Asia across medium and large SAP clients.

- Has knowledge of and has supported SAP sales and pre-sales process team successfully leading to deal closures

- Supports SAP delivery leadership to mine current SAP accounts by conversion into AMS projects as well as new SAP services significantly.

- Demonstrate thought leadership to help grow as strong SAP services provider for India / South Asia market

- Actively support sales opportunities by leveraging solutions, offerings and services and translate them into strong value proposition for clients and help win most deals.

- Coordinates with the larger SAP sales team, practice heads/SMEs as well as delivery leaders to realize planned revenue growth, help define sales and go-to-market strategy, deal budgeting, driving marketing campaigns etc.

- Monitor key SAP accounts to ensure new business opportunities, receivables management and connect with delivery leaders for any concerns.

- Demonstrate eminence across various SAP product landscape that complement SAP solutions to support prospect and existing client requirements

- Experience in carrying out initial assessment and discovery discussions around client requirements and translate the same into workable SAP solution. This includes leading business case development workshops and carrying out executive interviews.

- Work closely with SAP alliance leadership to define annual business plan, ascertain new solutions, opportunities and any support required.

- Create and deliver demonstrations, technical presentations, administer questionnaires, respond to RFI and RFPs, define pilot/proof of concept programs etc., working with SMEs and pre-sales.

- Strong communication and articulation skills and ability to communicate and drive discussions with senior client executives.

- Experience in carrying out project pricing process including handling sales strategies (discount management, deal bundling, integrated services mix etc.,) effectively.
