SAP Financial Accounting Role

Responsibilities

- Reconcile export incentives with the company's books of accounts using SAP FICO modules.

- Ensure accurate accounting treatment of all export incentives received.

- Manage FEMA and other statutory compliance requirements:

- Track and submit relevant documents through EDPMS, IDPMS, BRC, FIRC, and other designated platforms.

- Verify bank statements to ensure proper remittance of payments to vendors.

- Generate timely and accurate reports for all compliance requirements related to short-term/long-term loans, PCRE term loans, interest calculations, and other financial instruments.

- Assist with annual forex gain/loss reinstatement calculations for export customers and import suppliers.

- Support with CSR/donation processes, other income provision, yearly bank balance confirmations, and security deposit management.

- Prepare, close, and submit all necessary reconciliation points.

- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant FEMA regulations and other statutory requirements.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, logistics, accounting) to ensure seamless integration of export incentive and compliance processes.

- Utilize SAP FICO functionality to create and maintain accurate financial records.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with SAP FICO, preferably in an export-oriented environment.

- Strong understanding of export incentive schemes and their accounting treatment.

- In-depth knowledge of FEMA regulations and other relevant statutory compliance requirements.

- Experience with EDPMS, IDPMS, BRC, FIRC, and other trade-related compliance platforms (a plus).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel is essential).
