- Providing Level 2 (process and basic configuration) support to users of the new SAP systems across all aspects of financial control and business performance, including: - Global chart of accounts and enterprise structures - Planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes - End-to-end processes across the SAP general ledger, banking, management accounting, fixed assets, and project modules - Intercompany processing - Financial control and preparation of financial statements - Monthly P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management information reporting - Group consolidations - Tax and treasury requirements - Risk management - Liaising with Level 3 support providers as required to resolve more significant issues - Collaborating with business stakeholders, super users, and product owners to design ongoing solution enhancements and improvements, through change requests and projects, including: - Identification of business objectives, outcomes, and benefits - Design of high-level functional scope - Mapping and documentation of finance process changes - Documentation of key business requirements - Documentation of functional specifications - Coordination and quality control of the external service provider deliverables to ensure full alignment to business requirements, for example: - Complex configuration of SAP solution and of other impacted systems - Technical developments and customisations - Unit testing and system integration testing - Assisting business super users with user acceptance testing, training, and documentation updates - Championing the one way of working across Travelopia, and providing continuous support and contribution to improve financial processes - Under the guidance of line management, performing other tasks as required What we are looking for - 8+ years- experience in functional roles involving SAP FICO - S/4HANA experience essential; the preferred candidate will have exposure to S/4HANA Cloud - Business partnering and strategic skills - ability to challenge and influence at senior levels across the end-to-end lifecycle of enhancements and support - Expert level written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation - Experience working with external service provider resources, including on- and offshore teams - Aptitude for learning new technologies - Ability to see the bigger picture, but also the desire to dive into the detail when required - The ability to work to agreed deadlines under pressure - Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously - Proactive in dealing with issues - Experience within the travel sector is desirable
