- Day-to-day management accountability for all deployment activity
- Managing the interface and delivery of supporting services to the deployment, such as development, data, testing, training, authorisations, validation etc (including with IT Teams)
- Managing delivery of budgeted cost elements allocated to the Deployment Manager
- Managing and mitigating any site risks and issues impacting, time, cost, quality or scope and escalate as required
- Works with client IT team to ensure local infrastructure requirements are in place (e.g. RF scanners, network connectivity, etc.)
- Driving and supporting OCM activities managed by the site Organisational Change Manager
- Driving and supporting cutover activities managed by the site Cutover Manager
- Creating a clear line of sight to go-live and a balanced view of risks, to operate as a trusted advisor at senior levels on site
- Driving closure of key issues post go live and ensure balanced prioritisation of issues between the site and central team
- Ensuring business continuity and contingency planning activity is robustly planned during the lifecycle of the project, drive the discussions and support the delivery of a plan working with the Deployment Director and Site Leadership
- Managing the effective handover to business as usual support organisation
- Represent the programme at deployment country steering meetings to report progress and communicate issues and risk
