Job Description :
- Implement day-to-day SAP basis administration activities in a complex multi-tier SAP landscape.
- Provide operational and project support keeping focus on meeting project milestones.
- Ensure SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment.
- Ensure the adherence of standards and SAP best practices.
- Work closely with functional and business teams in order to adequately support Mercury solution business requirements.
- Be accountable for the support and proactive monitoring of the core SAP applications including installation, performance, break fixes and change requests per business requirements.
- Ensures that changes to SAP are delivered in line with business standards and do not cause any detrimental impact to Mercury systems.
- Perform root-cause-analysis and optimization of the SAP solution.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery SAP solutions.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP technical architecture with hands-on experience
Requirements :
- Excellent technical understanding of SAP products with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in BASIS support.
- Experience working on SAP large implementation projects including full testing life cycle and post go-live support.
- Thorough knowledge of SAP software and HANA databases, as well as working experience of key business applications including SAP S4 HANA, BW, BOBJ, BPC,CPI, SolMan, Fiori.
- Experience working with SAP installations, upgrades (SAP version, Kernel), maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting of issues and tuning and optimization.
- Good knowledge on OS Windows/Linux administration, VMware virtualization, NAS/SAN storage, failover clustering, and other high availability technologies.
- Experience working with middleware, integration, and web technologies for SAP solutions.
- Experience working with Cloud solutions for SAP (installation, configuration, migration, testing, support).
- Experience in handling Incidents, Change Management and Problem Management, Release management.
- Experience developing technical documentation, designing blueprints and technical workshops.
- Excellent customer service, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive Experience in Installations, System Copies, System Refresh, Integrations, Upgrades and Support of all SAP Systems (ABAP/JAVA/PI/SolMan/BW/BI/BOBJ/Fiori/BPC) on Windows/Linux and HANA DB.
- Experience in SAP NW upgrades including support pack upgrades and version upgrades.
- Experience with HANA DB performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting issues related to BW process chains, BW transports, failed BO reports, long running jobs in BW, BOBJ,
- Experience working on SAP Security, Database, hardware, networks and cloud & virtualization areas.
- Manage/renew domain hosting & SSL certificates.
- Experience in updates of Solution Manager and configuration
