Innovation and Strategy - Assist in identification of innovative ideas to drive business growth and excellence - Develop business case, strategy / plan and implementation roadmap for ideas - Conduct secondary and primary research - Continuously scan environment to understand market trends, growth drivers, competitor activities, offerings, pricing, potential stakeholders that can be served, regulatory issues etc. to formulate sales and marketing strategies - Evaluate partnering, alliance opportunities wherever possible Project Management - Assist in developing robust and effective plan - Provide a holistic real-time view of selected project - Provide central coordination, tracking, monitoring and reporting for selected project - Provide stakeholders with the visibility and predictability necessary to make decisions and manage successful implementation - Drive successful on scope and on time delivery to achieve key milestones and successfully implement the project People - Collaborate effectively across teams to develop and drive implementation of strategic projects - Share relevant information openly and seek appropriate input from others outside of the direct team - Develop and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships and partnerships - Respond positively and constructively to requests for support from across the organisation Process - Assist in standardization of strategy development process and templates used - Analysis of internal and external data to support management decision making Qualifications- MBA from premier MBA colleges (e.g. IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C, IIFT, ISB, SP Jain, XLRI etc.) is preferred - Experience in strategy function in industry (Consumer Products, Pharmaceutical) / top tier strategy consulting firm - Developed / Supported development of two strategy projects including implementation - Experience in project management (Non-IT). Project management of at least two projects - Experience in market research, strategy tools and financial modelling - Techno-commercial person Exclusions - Executive MBA candidates will not be considered for the position
