- To partner with the Head / General Manager of the GBU for all its HR requirements. - Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy for GBU in alignment with the Leadership Team - Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues in alignment with IR team and the function Heads. To maintain healthy Sales employee relations, and take action on legal or disciplinary issues. This includes facilitating the resolution of grievances of sales personnel. - Partner with the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition COE to ensure right skills and right leadership pipeline is available for the business for its future needs. - To provide continuous perspective and carry out engagement building initiatives in order cascade organization vision and values to the sales workforce. Collaborate with sales function and HR team to drive employer branding initiatives. - Design and drive key processes such as recruitment and internal movements in the sales team in order to place the right person in the right job and reduce impact of vacancy on business performance - Remuneration &amp; Reward process: To deploy the total R&amp;R process for sales force along with business heads and C&amp;B COE. To benchmark sales HR processes (Incentives, productivity, attrition, etc) from the industry and create attractive policies for Sanofi to help realize its most admired company vision. - To create and foster a work environment that enables team and collaboration. To take steps to drive retention and engagement within the GBU and to enhance engagement with sales force - To develop HR team members to grow and to contribute to the HR agenda. - To drive talent identification and development process for the Sales HR team in order to ensure that the talent pipeline is populated as part of the staffing process. - Recruit, build and develop the Sales HR team in the region in order to make them customer centric and facilitate the smooth running of business. - Shape the Diversity and Inclusion agenda for business teams - Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital - Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization - Nurture a positive working environment - Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance - Maintain pay plan and benefits program along with Commercial Excellence team for Incentives and Compensation and Benefit COE - Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs - Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics - Ensure legal compliance &amp; audit plan throughout human resource management - Ensure manpower planning and budgetary controls - Ensure Talent Pipeline for critical roles in the function and adequate exposure and experience built in through exposure to have a health pipeline - Ensure gender diversity within the team is monitored as a priority along with the GM and the heads Implement a strong employee relation framework leading to a conducive social environment Work with the local unions to address the new requirements of business from time to time. Set a tone of trust and mutual respect. Apply local laws and regulations to all employee processes. Knowledge, Skills &amp; Competencies : - Degree in Human Resources or related field - Knowledge of sound people practices. - Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company - Knowledge of HR systems and employee relations - Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills - People oriented and results driven Qualifications: - Post Graduate in Management/ Specialization in Human Resources - Relevant work experience of 15 years plus in Human Resources as a generalist HR - Experience of working with an MNC / matrix environment will be preferred
