Sanmat Trust - Project Head - Youth Development Initiative

Job Purpose:

The project would work towards comprehensive youth development programme. The project intends to facilitate self-awareness process, address economic empowerment and promote community orientation with focus on experiencing, collaboration, and participation by interpersonal and vocational skills development of 900 youth and adolescents. The Project Head will oversee the implementation of the project at the local level and drive the project.

Key Accountabilities - 

- Design the implementation plan for the Project

- Manage the planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of project activities to achieve results against set objectives

- Manage the engagement of external stakeholders and internal project staff as relevant

- Co-ordinate the development of resources and materials required for the project activities

- Manage project budgets, maintaining positive expenditure within a set timeframe

- Provide regular, accurate financial and narrative reporting

- Drive data collection efforts and draw on monitoring and evaluation data so as to inform and re-direct project implementation

- Maintain donor liaison through written reports and updates

Person Specification: Essential

- At least 4 years of experience of relevant experience

- Demonstrable Project Management Experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to inform and engage through written communication

- Strong initiative and ability to multitask, anticipate and priorities without direct supervision
