Sangam - Manager - Sales/Merchandising - Apparel

- Merchandising experience in denim Garment is Must. Candidates from outside textile or fashion industry need not apply.

- We are a large Textile manufacturer with a Gross Revenue of INR 2000 crores. The Company is looking for a mid-career professional to set up and drive its Denim garments and Private Label sales business.

- The Candidate will be responsible to generate strategic partnerships and collaborations with Brands and Private Labels and manage the entire end-to-end sales, marketing setup for the same. 

- He/ She will work with the senior management team directly. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded professional looking for substantial responsibilities and subsequent value creation.

- The company is a vertically integrated textile company based out of Rajasthan, with a strong yarn and fabric manufacturing base, and is looking to expand in the apparel segment. The Company manufactures denim fabric and is seeking forward integration into denim apparel manufacturing and distribution by partnering with large retail & apparel brands.

Location : Mumbai

Job Responsibilities :

- Sales & Partnership.

- Establishing strategic partnerships with Big Box Retailers of Denim Brands.

- Developing and implementing sales strategies for increasing market share and profitability on a sustainable basis.

- Responsible for assigning sales force quotas and ensuring the firm's financial objectives tie in with individual objectives.

- Designing/Innovation.

- Identify Current trends and designing required by brand Partners.

- Present partners with new ideas in denim apparel.

- Logistics & Quality control.

- Manage entire logistics support of the product.

- Responsible for maintaining quality control and consistency of the products.

Other Key Responsibilities :

- Build develop & lead a team that is directly in touch with the brands for which the company will do private label manufacturing.

- Responsible for Apparel Merchandising

Candidate Profile :

- He/ She will have a very strong academic background.

- He/ She should be a highly motivated individual with an ability to build & drive a national level sales and distribution team.

- He/ She should have at least 6 to 8 years of experience handling brand development and strategic partnerships.

- Experience with apparel retail companies will be preferred a strong previous experience in Partnership with Pvt. Label.

- Compensation shall be discussed individually with the selected Candidates and shall be attractive vis--vis the industry standards.
