Sales & Marketing Head (DGM Level) (Only Female Candidate)

We have Urgent Position as Sales & Marketing Head (DGM Level) based at Ahmedabad

Function: mCommerce

Purpose of the Job

The incumbent will be responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the business in the circle

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

1. P&L owner for the circles with responsibility of strategic and operational aspects of the circle

2. Rollout of demand generation programs for various use-cases to enable targeted acquisition of customers

3. Acquisition of customers across various use cases through marketing and sales program

4. Ensuring right quality of customers acquired across the zones

5. Getting new B2C and B2B merchant signed up cross identified use-cases as per national strategy

6. People management- with sales and functional team reporting to the incumbent

Major Challenges :

1. Being a new business category it’s important to ensure roll-out and execution of demand generation activities, which needs to be rolled out through ZMMs and TMs in the zones.

2. Getting new merchants like utility boards onboard will require continuous persuasion and follow up of various government officials and involving circle senior management.

3. Aligning and working with circle executive committee and zonal business managers to drive priorities

Decision level

Prime: Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the Management

1) Rollout of demand generation activities

2) Signing of circle level use cases like utility boards, transport corporations , B2B concerns.

3) Ensuring targeted acquisition of customers across all identified use-case.

Shared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis

1) Driving repeat behavior by marketing program run jointly with central marketing team

Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others

1) Market research to understand customer behavior and develop customer insights
