Position reports to National Modern trade and E commerce Manager
Job Description:
- The MT Sales Manager position is accountable for:
- Managing National accounts (Reliance Group, Tata Group accounts and /or regional accounts like wellness forever, Accounts may vary.
- Planning and delivering sales numbers for the Key Accounts in coordination with the dedicated set of MT team members at regional/ pan-India level
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:
- Planning & finalizing business strategy for the assigned Key Accounts to drive business growth and increased category share.
- TOT negotiation: discussion and closure with the assigned Key Accounts on yearly basis.
- Driving operational efficiency: Ensuring the planograms and assortment are executed as per plans.
- Lead resource for planning and negotiating for in-store activations, merchandising, sell-out plans with the accounts
- Facilitating commercial reconciliation of assigned accounts.
- Coordinating with internal & External teams to drive efficiency within the teams
Key Account Relationship and Target Review:- Create and develop relationship with Key Accounts through meaningful engagements
- Prepare Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Key Accounts to set the Account wise objective for the current financial year and develop the tools to achieve the same
- Review of performance with Accounts on Quarterly basis to analyse current performance against plan and incorporate changes, if require.
Sales Promotion Planning:- Planning internal marketing calendars of Promotions, Activations and New Product introduction and aligning the same with chains and ensuring implementation through Field Execution Team
- Preparing business forecast basis, the discussions with the Key Accounts
- Prioritise and optimize spends to maximise ROI.
- Provide trade information, competitor's activities, and market intelligent to company
- Monitor industry trends to anticipate and recommend new products.
Eligibility Criteria:Educational Qualifications : MBA in Sales and Marketing.
Work Experience Requirement : At least 3-8 years of experience in modern trade.
Skills Required : Well versed in Area work and Local Language.
