Sales Manager - Data Center Infrastructure

Educational Qualification

- B.E. in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication

Min. 4 years+ of experience in the sales function, exposure to field of data center infrastructure

- Thorough understanding of data center infrastructure which includes: experience in either of one from below list:

- Cooling

- UPS power

- Electrical

- Lighting

- Civil (fire retardant walls) etc

- Racks

- UTP & OFC cabling

- Security and surveillance (Access control, CCTV, Fire detection and suppression, Rodent repellant, water leak detection, VESDA etc.)

- Good knowledge of the OEM/suppliers for the data center infrastructure components

Personal Skills

- Fluency in English (verbal and written)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Good presentation skills

- Loyalty to corporate values, guiding principles and policies and personal integrity

Task & responsibilities

- Finding data center infrastructure prospects

- Understanding customer- s/tender requirements

- Coordinating with the prospective suppliers/OEMs for arriving the BOM/solution

- Getting offers from vendors/suppliers/OEMs for the designedthe solution

- Preparing design documents and offer/bid

- Negotiate with the suppliers/OEMs/vendors for the supplies/execution

- Supporting sales team from other regions
