Job Title: Sales Manager
Business Unit: Cards
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai – 1 per location
Basic Job Purpose: Acquisition & Relationship Management – Corporate Card Clients
Dimensions of the Job
1. Run the acquisition and relationship management channel for corporate cards in the city
2. Work closely with various parts of the Bank viz LCB Hub, LCB Branch, CRT & Retail SME to generate leads for corporate cards from the various Bank’s relationships held by the RMs
3. Responsible for lead closure – from product pitch to final documentation
4. Liaise with S&D for application fulfillment
5. Complete familiarity with the product construct and key product benefits
6. Understanding of the competitive environment for corporate cards.
7. Fully responsible for relationship management. This will entail account servicing (operational requirements) and account management to improve corporate card penetration and drive spend.

Major Challenges & Opportunities
1. One of the fastest growing segments in the payment industry. Market is expected to grow to $20Bn in 4-5 years
2. Bank has strong existing relationships with key customer target segments
3. Important focus area for the Cards business
4. Will need to work closely with different parts of the bank that holds these relationships to ensure mind space with RM
5. Heightened expectations from a servicing perspective
Candidate Specifications
1. MBA with 5+ years experience in corporate sales – in hotels/airlines etc
2. Strong communication skills
3. Relationship management ability
4. Knowledge of financial metrics – ability to leverage this knowledge to build value and client focused solutions
5. Ability to understand sales cycles and the various steps associated with the same
6. Ability to network with various business verticals of the bank and work effectively across functions
7. Entrepreneurial skills – strong drive to build and manage new business
