Designation : Sales Head Bangalore ( Reporting to the COO)  Our client is an early-stage start-up ( Founded by IIT graduates ) disrupting the logistics space in India. They are an online marketplace for surface logistics and are trying to address market inefficiencies and low capacity utilization in the logistics sector, namely difficulty in getting the return trip/fare or idle unused inventory using mobile technology.  Job Responsibilities :  - Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.  - Maintains sales volume, product mix,and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends,economic indicators, and competitors.  - Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.  - Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the organization.  - Responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan.  - Develop deep understanding of customers, their needs, end user pain points and use relevant information in developing business development strategy  - Build strategic partnerships with organizations for a deeper penetration. Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.  - Manage and motivate the sales team. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.  - Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
