Our client – a leading US based IT/ITES organization into Cloud and SaaS based technologies is looking for a Head – Sales for their corporate office in Gurgaon.

Sales Head – US

Role/Responsibilities:

- The Sales Head - Membership Development will lead, mentor, manage, and grow the technical pre-sales and lead gen team. Primary responsibility to generate leads, make strong solution sales pitch, negotiate and close deals in North America. Preferably familiar, with the technologies like Portal, BI, Content Management, Middleware Technologies etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Lead Generation and Relationship Building:

- Primary responsibility to generate leads, make strong solution sales pitch, negotiate and close deals. Will be supported by a technical pre-sales and lead gen teams.

- Work closely with Senior management to define the sales strategy and execute against it;

- Willing to hit the ground running and take up aggressive targets;

- Responsible for making daily calls and field visits into existing accounts in territory.

- Represent the company at industry conferences & events - network and speak.

- Provide inputs to product management based on customer needs, trends & competition to build product roadmap.

- Executive Relation Building and Stakeholder Relation building experience.

- Responsible for Revenue Targets for self and team

- Responsible for executing Sales Campaigns.

Team Management and Training:

- Responsible for managing, mentoring and training the Membership Development team.

- Responsible for hiring and firing.

- Reviews and approves all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.), statements of work, agreements and quotes to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

- Audits team activities and CW updates on a regular basis.

- Responsible for Performance Appraisals.

- Responsible for creating and managing (payouts, collating data and incentive reports) incentive structures for the Mem Dev team.

- Scheduling and planning Friday training sessions and others as required.

Reporting Projections And Target Structure:

- Leading the reporting to the Director - Mem Dev and Leadership team.

- Providing weekly dashboard reports and providing analysis and projections based on data.

Targets will be based on:

Skills :

- Proven Business Development skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships

- Proven Team Management Skills

- Ability to interact with C level executives both internally and externally.

- Extremely detail oriented

- Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc)

- Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well

- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

- Masters degree in management

- Work may require international travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid passport within 60 days of employment.

- Work requires willingness to work Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Salary: Best In Industry, anything in the range of 25-35 lac + ESOP’s

Location: Gurgaon
