Job Description - The role will be responsible for manages the Sales for a well establish global organisation. The role will involve direct sales and channel management.

Client Details

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Precision Engineering products located Tamil Nadu, India. They are a 150 years old organisation with a presence in over 20 countries. Their current turn over is over 50 cr an have a sales team of over 10 people in India.

The client has a manufacturing setup in India through which they export to their group companies across the world besides domestic sales in India.

Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

- To prepare strategic document with action plan for 5 years

- To prepare annual sales budget for the company by addressing all products, segments and geographies.



- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base through new customer addition and market expansion.

- To design an efficient sales organisation with optimal balance

- Own the team and train them well for both personal and organisational development.

- Strategically appoint new dealers wherever is required to improve the business in domestic and export market.

- Frequently meeting all customers to identify the gaps to improve service level time to time and build strong, long-lasting customer relationships

- Developing, leading and executing the pricing strategies with the customers

- Shared responsibility for Finance management by reviewing and monitoring of monthly financial MIS and implementation corrective action, wherever needed.

- Shared responsibility for the Human resource function by driving performance management, training, leading and motivating sales staffs, recognising and accelerating sales team strengths to build powerful teams

- Shared responsibility for the Information Technology function by using latest trends to make this organisation as IT enabled.

Profile

You must have a BE in Mechanical Engineering, a masters degree in business management is highly preferred. You will have atleast 10 years experience and should have more than 5 years in team management experience. You will have a good speaking knowledge of Hindi and English.
