We have been retained to hire a seasoned strategic leader for the National Sales Head role. The role will be crucial in working towards the company's growth objectives and will be responsible for driving the sales function and achieving top and bottom line targets. The role will report to the MD of the company and will operate from the company's head office in Delhi NCR.

The key responsibilities will include:

- Direct and oversee sales and operations, ensuring achievement of key business metrics.

- Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and capitalize on new business opportunities.

- Cultivate relationships with key clients, understanding their requirements and fostering long-term customer loyalty.

- Transition the product portfolio towards higher value-add products.

- Drive the adoption of innovative automation machines and warehousing solutions.

- Manage, mentor, and develop the sales and service team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Evaluate market trends and provide competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential threats.

- Oversee the entire service team, ensuring top-notch customer service and minimal downtime for clients.

The Sales Head will be a key member for the company's senior management team. To be suitable, the incumbent must have:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales

- Proven experience in high-pressure sales roles and managing multi-location teams

- Deep understanding of the industrial automation, engineering, and capital equipment sales markets

- Strong business acumen with a strategic ability

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals and targets.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

- Familiarity with the cultural nuances across India and ability to build strong relationships

- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team

- Willingness to travel for client visits and other business needs
