Key Accountabilities:
Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region
Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards
Effectively lead overall warehouse operations through consistent product availability, warehouse productivity, inventory, asset preservation and reliability and cost reductions efforts
Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees
Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs
Institute regular review mechanisms at different levels to revisit the progress on the priorities set out at the beginning of the year
Establish remediation strategies to address internal mis-communication issues and either redefine roles or reset expectations between marketing, finance, sales, supply chain, HR and operations
Partner with HR and drive People Core People Processes across the team
Own the front-line functional skill development and Development Action Plan
Key Skills/Experience Required :
Graduate / MBA from Regional eminent schools, having 10-14 years of sales experience in FMCG / Food Industry across South geographies.
Very sound functional / business knowledge
Flexibility, adaptability and able to think laterally in different environments
Good communication, Coaching and people development skills, High influencing skills and Drive for results, decision making skills, Negotiation skills, Team building,
Leadership qualities.
