Client is is an ed-tech organization providing education solutions to students and tutors.
TheClient is launching a new B2B SaaS product for the tutor community and is seeking to hire a Sales Head for owning and driving the sales function of the new product. Sales Head will be a part of the core management team directly reporting to the CEO
Sales Head Responsibilities:
- Aggressively drive sales and generate new revenue
- Own the P&L
- Design and implement a sales plan in accordance with the organization's vision
- Create, train and lead a high-performing sales team to deliver on the organization's sales targets
- Create an extensive training plan for training sales personnel at different levels in accordance with the organization's brand positioning
- Collaborate with internal product/tech teams and provide feedback to help shape future product development
- Partner with Marketing colleagues on driving cross-functional, cross-channel marketing efforts to meet the growth objectives
- Be a part of and work closely with the Leadership Team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives
- Regularly and extensively track the performance of the sales team
- Own recruiting, training, goal setting & monitoring of the team
- Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends to help strategize the future growth
- Weekly reporting to the management on sales performance
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales with an emphasis on SaaS sales preferably in a tech start-up
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing sales team
- Successful track record of planning and rolling out GTM strategies
- Experience with both inside and outside sales, including lead generation and outbound prospecting
- Exceptional in-person, verbal and written communication skills a must (both in English & Hindi)
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial work environment where self-motivated individuals succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputed institution
