KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-
Team Management & Development:
- Oversee, mentor, and manage a team of salesmen in the region, ensuring they achieve their sales targets.
- Provide regular training sessions to ensure the team is well-versed with product knowledge and updated selling techniques.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with company objectives and targets.
Dealer & Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture relationships with existing dealers, ensuring they are stocked, informed, and driven.
- Identify potential dealers within the steel, cement, paper, and crusher industries.
- Visit end users to understand their needs, build solid rapport, and ensure they receive top-notch service.
Technical Assistance:
- Offer technical service and support where necessary, leveraging your expertise in bearings and filters.
- Address technical queries from the sales team, dealers, and end users, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to promote and use our products effectively.
Sales & Marketing Initiatives:
- Set, manage, and monitor sales targets for the region, driving the team toward success.
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities to amplify our brand presence.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to align regional campaigns with company-wide strategies.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Use insights to strategize regional sales initiatives and adjust tactics as necessary.
- Attend industry seminars and conferences, representing the brand and gleaning insights to inform strategy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, Business, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, specifically within the bearings and/or filters sector.
- Proven experience dealing with applications in cement, steel, paper, and crushers.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with a track record of managing sales teams.
- Strong techno-commercial acumen, with the ability to merge technical know-how with sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the region.
