Sales Engineer - Pipes - Mechanical

Job purpose:-

To achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and related services and secures new business accounts.

Duties and responsibilities:-

- Review all enquiries from the customer and prepare rapid and accurate quotations

- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails

- Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

- Gathering market and customer information

- Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations

- Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers

- Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders

- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office

- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements

- Attending team meeting and sharing best practices with colleagues

Qualifications:-

Education:-

University degree in mechanical engineering.

Skills and Experience:-

- 5 years' experience in similar position

- Experience working with outdoor Sales team

- Very good technical knowledge

- Demonstrated aptitude for problem- solving; ability to determine solutions for customers

- Must be results- orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate good presentation skills

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
