Hiring for the role of Sales Development - Rural (Pan India) with a leading FMCG giant.
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and influencing the GT Rural Business and influencing the Rural Market Share
- Identify performance across geographies and put special impetus on opportunities via support/drive.
- To identify the categories, plan and give shape to interventions to increase the Rural MS.
- Keep a constant tab on the quality of execution thru regular audits
- Work in close association with the brand teams to promote the right portfolio mix
- Ensure the right quality of Rural Distributors to drive revenue extraction from target markets
2. Planning and influencing the GT Rural Business and influencing the Rural ND
- To influence the width and the depth of the Rural distribution. Keep track of Brand Distribution matrices in Rural.
- Drive Direct Distribution in Rural as per AOP ambition in target markets
- Drive Village Coverage Agenda as per plan
- Keep a constant tab on the quality of execution thru regular audits
- Drive Outlet retention as per AOP plan
3. Rural Workforce Management
- To decide and ensure Rural workforce span as per requirement
- To design and maintain the Rural workforce monetary incentives and ad hoc supports as and when required
4. Driving Rural Business Efficiency
- Bringing efficiency to the Rural workforce & Distribution channel via Tech developments in co-ordination with IT Team
- Working on building Workforce Capability via timely training and education.
5. Programme Management
- Astute programme management to drive Rural Business as per Quarterly Operating Plan
- Timely Closures of all monthly activities around Rural Programmes like incentives disbursement, target setting, communication etc
6. Projects
- To drive AOP S&D projects pertaining to Rural Markets as per timeline and with close liaisoning with Cross functional and region teams
