We require Sales cum Station Head for the Radio Business of a reputed Media Organization based in Hyderabad.

People with rich experience in Sales ( 10 to 15 years ) in Media with an exposure / understanding in Programming would be an ideal fit.

Local flavor is essential, People with experience in the Hyderabad market---current or in the past is essential.

Reportees Programming Team, Sales Team, Technical Team

Expected Qualification Details : MBA

Expected Overall Years Of Experience : 10 - 15 Years

Principal Responsibilities : ( Specifies Key Result Areas for the Incumbent )

Revenue achievement :

- Drive station revenue to achieve budgets

- Formalize product strategy and plan (on-air) with the GPD to drive listenership

- Manage daily execution of this strategy with the PD

- Create the marketing strategy and plan with the marketing head and drive the same locally with the marketing team

- Manage and oversee all aspects of on ground and on air execution for brand Fever and the station Fever 104FM to drive listenership and image for the brand

- Plan and execute customer engagement programs to drive source revenue from the respective markets

- Create and drive revenue opportunity on-air/on-ground locally that can be monetized by local/national Sales teams/FAT.

- Coordinate with other Station Heads to highlight the de-growth (if any) in revenue from their respective markets to the local station and analyze and take corrective measures locally if required.

Cost management :

- Monitor and optimize costs to drive business objectives at station level

- Manage the local procurement process in terms of negotiation, vendor management and payment closure

- Drive marketing cost optimization to achieve overall business results

- Manage technology and infrastructure including transmission, studio and office to ensure 24/7 operations

- Managing event execution costs and alliances to drive event profitability

Source revenue management :

- Be the face of Fever to all major clients and agencies and monitor customer management in all aspects

- Deliver source revenue as per target

- Build category strategy and plan activation's / properties to ensure business conversions

- Monitor local sales team effectiveness and efficiency

People management :

- Recruit, induct, train and manage the local teams

- Periodic feedback sessions and annual appraisal cycle for direct reports. Do skip level meetings and review appraisals for -1 level reportees

- Drive engagement, retention and the annual rewards plan for the whole team

- Periodic updates and station rewards program

Requirement - MBA with 10-15 years of experience. Should have handled sales at regional /national level. Knowledge of industry will be an added advantage.

- Team management.

- MBA with 10 to 15 years of experience. Should have handled sales and managed large teams. Knowledge and experience of Industry will be an added advantage.
