Position Sales Manager
Business Unit/Vertical Sales and Business Development Vertical
Reports To Vice President : Sales
Place of Posting Gurgaon / Pune
Role: Responsible for achieving company sales targets. Execute sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyse sales and marketing activity against goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers for product sales.
- Research and develop strategies and plans which help identify opportunities and new project development.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs and results.
- Directly manage client accounts.
- Participate in the development of new project proposals,
- Execute short and long-range goals, objectives, policies.
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors.
- Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
- Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop 5 year plan, 10 year business plan for the company.
- Industry Preferred IT / Robotics/Systems Engineering / Automotive company (not OEM)
Qualification Engineering degree with Electronics / Electrical as major
- Competencies "Self starter, Excellent verbal skills (explanation of solutions, meetings, presentations, training), Experience of giving presentations to customers in a sales environment at all levels up to and including C-level.
- B2B Sales experience, Experience in concept/solution selling, Should have proven capability of hunting and closing sales on his own without needing dedicated sales lead generation channel
