Sales Associates - BI (Business Intelligence) software products and services

Job Description Based in NCR region, responsible for the direct sale of BI (Business Intelligence) software products and services, focusing on closing deals to generate revenue and market share. After several years of pre-sales experience working in a mid-size company integrating BI-centric software (e.g. Qlikview, Cognos, Business Objects, Oracle, etc.), ideal candidate is ready to move to a pure sales “hunting” position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute a sales plan to generate revenue from license, maintenance, training and consulting sales;

2. Discover what is important to the customer to understand business needs and define a sales closing plan;

3. Build, reuse and adapt existing sales material to construct effective proposals;

4. Work with the marketing department to generate, obtain and prioritize business leads;

5. Cooperate with sales, technical teams and partners to de-risk proposals and win deals;

6. Understand contractual terms to limit risks and better negotiate;

7. Contribute to brand & customer loyalty and support trusted relationships.

Desired Skills & Experience

- The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of responsibility in pre-sales requiring extensive interaction with end customers. Hands-on experience in all facets of sales including complex proposal construction, social networking and trade shows, with an ability to plan, explain, execute and report on sales processes to achieve desired outcome. The candidate must be autonomous, have a business network, and be responsive, creative, tactical and proactive.

1. Prior Exp. in selling BI software such as Qlikview, SAP, Oracle, etc..

2. Familiar with high tech industry (products, software and/or services) in the Business Intelligence landscape.

3. Superior oral and written communications skills.

4. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and tactical level.

5. Strong initiative, ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue.

6. Comfortable working at all levels in an SME environment.
