SalaryBox - Chief Technical Officer/Head - IIT/NIT/BITS

SalaryBox is a Fintech Lending startup revolutionizing payments to blue-collar workers in India. We aim to connect with ~110 million blue-collar workers and become the one-stop solution for offering credit, insurance & other financial services.

The founders are financial industry veterans, having worked at Goldman Sachs, Piramal Capital, Clix Capital, Indifi & Practo, after studying at IIT Roorkee.

We're looking for a CTO to join us as part of the founding team. Candidate should

- Be from top Engineering Institutes (preferably 2016 or later pass-outs)

- Have prior experience in developing Android apps from scratch

- Understand/ be able to figure out integrating payment portals

- Be able to build products that are scalable. Be able to brainstorm and resolve issues that come to multiple users.

- Be creative, ideative, and have a problem-solving approach Roles and responsibilities for this position will keep getting incremented as the seed round takes off. In the next couple of months, we expect the candidate to head, direct and mentor a team of >20 people.

- Be part of the team representing the firm in front of investors, attend industry & tech events, etc.

- Ability to communicate and present well is needed. Candidates from startups are preferred - this is not a 9-5 job, but an intellectually challenging and stimulating one (request please only apply if you want to pilot a rocketship)
