SAIVA - Data Scientist

Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy models improving surgery complications prediction using contextual data and other industry sources.

- Turn business objectives into engineering and modelling projects, break them down in manageable components and deliver them autonomously.

- Experiment with feature extraction, model design and system evaluation.

- Lead and mentor your team and colleagues as well as assist in hiring team members.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related technical field experience.

- Proficiency in Python.

- Experience in working in a production environment, follow software engineering best practices and operate with a scientific mindset.

- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.

- Ability to evaluate models keeping in mind performance, robustness and maintainability.

- Research or industry experience in machine learning modelling, infrastructure, natural language processing or deep learning.
