Strategic :
- Develop Product road-map for the category based on company vision, market situation, technology trend and consumer trend / behavior analysis.
- Plan to manage & improve market share of the product category, Develop & prepare business plan in consensus with Regional teams & HQ team. Budget plan for the products, tracking sales pattern for the products and identify the lifespan.
- GTM - Formulate channel strategy for the categories for Maximizing the results.
- Create long term plan and strategy of the category.
- Analyse the growth and devise strategies for the healthy P&L of the category.
- Work along with sales team to translate customer inspirits into strategies which drives performance.
Market analysis :
- Analyze market trend and competitive landscape by segment for Product competitiveness & price positioning. Consumer insight analysis for new USP / product introduction opportunity.
- Conduct Sales channel analysis for growth opportunity & monitoring the trend by segment. Annual strategy planning for the category. Involve in market mapping, competition strength and weakness and tracking channel for product ranges.
Operational :
- Create a novel influencer engagement programmer for the category relationship.
- Nurture the products to the potential growth.
- Positioning the products near to the consumer.
Category financials :
- Devise & manage product pricing / scheme to achieve category profit based on competitor's price positioning & product competitiveness by segment.
- Analyze monthly profit/loss by model & prepare analysis to appraise top mgmt. for taking corrective action, Managing pricing for both retail & B2B (Influencers market).
Product & Consumer :
- Conduct active market sensing and understand consumer need to generate ideas for new product and USP introduction; Manage and coordinate for new Product development along with R&D, Design, Sales and HQ team consensus.
- Ensure the timely launch of new Product line up for next year business plan. Position has responsibility of identifying new product to be launched, screening with top management on the new ideas, testing the product category, collecting product viability from influencers, pre-launch activities and Launching of product, New Product Introduction. Devising launch strategy for effective communication for product leadership & segmentation
