Company Profile - Sagoon is a young social commerce startup that was founded in 2014 with a vision of creating the world where everyone makes money while socializing. In simple words, we plan to share our earnings with every single user by creating an innovative social path: CONNECT - SHARE - EARN. This concept is slowly fetching us the international recognition, which is clear from the fact that we have acquired half a million users in more than 150 countries.

- Since our inception in 2014, we have successfully launched four features (My day, Mood Talk, Secret Sharing, contact) with the help of our devoted team in India, US and Nepal. Another achievement worth mentioning is Sagoon became one of the first few startups in 2017 to get qualified from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission to raise funds from the public. We recently closed our first funding round and raised more than $3 million from over 3400 investors. Sagoon's current valuation is $ 93 million & its predicted to reach more than $ 1 billion by year 2018.

Job Profile -

- Should possess strong experience in Intellectual Property.

- Assisting in structuring the transaction from legal side.

- Drafting and review of Termsheet, investment agreement, share purchase agreement and other investment documents;

- Handling due diligence process and preparing the company for legal due diligence;

- Reviewing the due-diligence findings, aiding in negotiating and resolving critical issues emerging from due diligence

- Negotiation of the investment agreement, share purchase agreement, etc;

- Drafting and vetting various legal & commercial agreements and documents. Negotiating the agreements and ensuring closure of the execution of the agreement;

- Co-ordinating with advisors, consultants for handling the transaction. Coordinating with internal teams for closing the transaction end to end;

- Handling corporate advisory and other corporate matters and documentation, etc;

- Keeping oneself updated with the Legal and regulatory updates.
