Hiring for Senior Product Manager InsurTech - Integrations.

Sage is a high growth InsurTech Startup aiming to empower insurance agents through technology and operations support. Established in 2018, Sage is focused on the US market and has offices in the USA, India, and Nepal. Founded by a Harvard Business School graduate. Sage is backed by prominent founders of startups such as Tinder, Acorns, and Udemy.

The Product Manager (henceforth PM) will be leading the companys quoting platform. The PM will be responsible for executing and managing API integrations with our partner insurance companies/carriers, developing web apps/mobile apps and optimizing usability through discussions with our stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Prioritize, plan and execute integrations.

- Monitor, support and optimize current platform through customer interviews.

- Negotiate with partner companies to reduce underwriting friction.

- Drive vision and delivery of new products/features to keep Sage relevant and competitive.

- Research & analyze potential insurance products to be integrated into the platform.

Our Expectations :

- Outline software solutions and product roadmap from provided business requirements.

- Setup and enforce internal product SLAs.

- Capability to make decisions through data.

- Communicate on technical details with the engineering team effectively.

- Analytically determine data model, data flow & entity relations in a large data set.

- Deconstruct and simplify complex business processes.

- Develop deep understanding of competitors.

- Domain Expertise (Self-learn, mentoring by executives: CEO & Knowledge Manager)

- Creativity (e.g., dream up novel solutions to hard usability problems)

Leadership / Team skills :

- Drive decision making within the group using an environment of Idea Meritocracy.

- Decision-making capability over system architecture and technical resources.

- Update product roadmap periodically to reduce the gap between the software limitations. and the client requirements after considering the feasibility of client requests.

Experience (preferred) : SaaS / CS background with 5+ years of experience over multiple products.

Location : Will be based in Kathmandu (with Accommodation), Remote (a few days a month).
