About Opportunity

Sagana's client is building a team of investment bankers who are dedicated to making a positive impact. We are looking for accomplished investment bankers with experience doing tech-focused deals in financial inclusion, renewable energy, education, healthcare, biotechnology, food & agriculture, and waste management & recycling.

Responsibilities :

1. Sourcing: As a sector SME, you will research and source deal opportunities, develop company, institutional, and PE/VC relationships to pitch deal ideas

2. Deal Structuring & Execution: Lead all deal activity from origination to execution by partnering with the deal team members to prioritize efforts to meet project timelines. Evaluating mandates, creating deal collaterals, creating a go-to-market plan, accompanying clients for calls/meetings with investors, and taking the deal to closure

3. Relationship Management: Managing client and investor relationships

4. Team Building: Supervise and review the work of Analyst and Associates on various transactions and other corporate work

5. Advisory: Lead and support clients through the expansion of corporate and personal enterprise Governance: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and legal issues in the financial industry

Skills and Experiences :

1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or engineering with an MBA from a tier 1 school

2. At least 5 years of work experience in Fundraising or M&A advisory at an investment bank or consulting firm

3. Experience with financial inclusion, renewable energy, food & agriculture, education, healthcare, biotechnology, and waste management & recycling

4. Enthusiasm for relationship building & staying abreast of market developments

5. Expertise in evaluating data (strong financial modeling and advanced excel skills). Energized by working in a fast environment with tight deadlines

6. Desire to build a career with purpose by bringing capital to impact-oriented businesses
