Safe Security - Project Manager

About the organisation :

Safe Security (erstwhile Lucideus Technologies) is a cybersecurity startup founded in 2012 out of IIT Bombay. We recently launched our Cyber risk quantification platform called SAFE (Security Assessment Framework for Enterprises) which analyses the entire infrastructure of an enterprise and gives a SAFE score on a scale of 0- 5 for the cybersecurity of an organisation.

About the role :

The project manager acts as a bridge between the customer and the organisation. The main objective of the role is to understand the customer's need to use our SaaS platform and create the project implementation plan accordingly. Once the plan is in place, seeing the proper execution of the same is also the responsibility of the Project Manager.

Core Responsibilities :

- Manage all aspects of projects to ensure the projects are aligned in accordance with the roadmap and supports the achievement of objectives.

- Create Project plans, milestones and work breakdown structures and ensure the project stays on the plan.

- Successfully lead projects from initiation to planning to execution and maintain deadlines along with the budgets.

- Encourage and motivate team members to adhere to the responsibilities and project milestones

- Ensure internal quality check on the deliverables

- Make a comprehensive roadmap for the project to monitor and track progress

- Prepare estimates pertaining to budget for all the phases of project

- Manage day- to- day project activities

- Maintain successful and amicable relationship with clients and all stakeholders of the project

- Oversee projects to mitigate the risks and their subsequent impact on the baseline

- Ensure comprehensive documentation of project

- Contribute towards and follow PMO processes and templates

Essential Skills/ Qualification/ Experience :

- Experience : 3- 8 years

- M.Tech or B.Tech / B.E.

- Project management and planning.

- Experience in handling CXOs as stakeholders.

- Ability to manage projects in matrix organization structure

- Project budgeting and expense monitoring

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Team player

- Excellent organizing skills including attention to detail and multitasking

- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified preferred\

- Previous cybersecurity experience is an added advantage.
