Safal Group - Manager - Finance

Role and responsibilities:

Finance Manager (Responsibilities will include Commercial, Supply Chain Management for Imports and Cross Functional Responsibilities as a Management Team Member, with Broad weightage of

a) Finance, Accounts and Taxation - 60%,

b) Management Team Member (Cross functional tasks) - 15%,

c) Supply Chain Management- Imports, Commercial Contract rating, 20 % and

d) Ad hoc Projects 5%)

Main purpose of the position:

- To protect companies' interest and fulfil all compliance responsibilities.

- Be Accountable and responsible for OTIF-A, Ontime, in Full, Accurate Accounting, Financial Management, Tax and other compliances, Commercial - Supply Chain, and to Safeguard companies' interest and deliver on agreed Performance Objectives.

- The custodian and key strategic source for financial management and financial decision making in the business.

- Provide financial advice and support to enable sound business decisions. This includes ensuring that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations as well as group guidelines.

- Corporate Governance and Risk Management, Internal Audit, Board Matters, Banking, Supply Chain, Commercial Contracting.
