General Manager - People Capability Development (Head Learning & Development)  We are looking for a General Manager - People Capability Development (Head Learning & Development) based out of our Corporate Office at Bangalore.  Position Summary :  - Position is of Head Learning & Development pan-India. Will be responsible for Building Internal Capability to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of leading edge capability building programs across organization.   - Responsible for maximizing the impact of Learning Budget and build L&D excellence across the organization. Role holder will closely work with each function to assess the development needs and design programs to fulfill these needs.   - Role holder is the primary person responsible for spearheading Competency Acquisition Process of the organization  Job Description :  - Strategically plan and execute programs that design, mould and nurture a culture that promotes learning among employees in the organization  - Responsible for developing a model of the capabilities that are required, and understanding what capabilities are already present  - Develop and implement learning programs that promote coaching, training and continuing education. Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.  - Select the most appropriate ways to develop required capabilities and plan their deployment; including ways to measure their effectiveness  - Establish the selected approaches and make sure they are supported by the performance management system, line management etc.  - Responsible to define the framework for creation of Competency Guides and the process for identifying and analyzing the Skill Gaps  - Research contemporary learning and development trends and provide recommendations on opportunities  - Responsible for budget planning and allocation as per as organizational needs  - Plan implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spend, material production and distribution and relevant sub-processes to ensure that programs are managed within authorized budgets  - Responsible for identification, evaluation and negotiation of/ with Vendors and Trainers ensuring effective training  - Responsible for Internal trainer identification, development and appropriate reward and recognition for internal trainers. Build an effective Internal Training bandwidth over the next year  - Responsible for analysis of Trainer Performance, provide feedback and updates to trainer. Create Internal Trainer - Database and Support Technical and Sales Training based on TGM  - Responsible for analysis of Training Effectiveness and to provide feedback and updates to the business  - Design and delivery of ET/ MT/ Summer Intern program  - Design and delivery of all internal Assessment Centers in the organization  Qualification :  PGDM/ MBA in HR/ IR from Tier I institutes only (XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD, SIBM, MDI)  Special Requirement :  - 10 - 12 years of experience in core Learning & Development area.  - Robust understanding of L&D interventions - development of learning interventions, leadership development programs, content development, internal capability development, development of internal trainers and design of systems/ processes to assess the learning environment and learning process effectiveness. Someone who has partnered closely with business functions on design and delivery of specific learning interventions.  Women candidates will be preferred.
