Position: Assistant Manager - Revenue and Reporting

Profile Summary

The position is directly responsible for the Revenue of Saama Group. The candidate should provide financial leadership by overseeing all Revenue GAAP accounting processes, documentation, adjustments along with over- seeing project administration functions, structure the reporting cycle and ensure timely reporting of revenue and business numbers.

The position shall also play a key role in long-term strategic decision making processes that affect the organization's profitability. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the successful operation of company and providing regular reports to senior management team.

Duties:

1. Implement, maintain and monitor Revenue accounting policies, procedures and controls procedures for entities overseen under US GAAP requirements.

2. Provide recommendations on accounting policies and procedures entities overseen considering US GAAP requirements.

3. Implement, maintain and monitor periodical reporting of financial and business numbers. Various MIS reports currently in use and also under process. Responsible for monthly (and timely) closure of Sale invoicing, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue etc. and subsequent disclosure in financial statement.

4. Facilitate and oversee any auditing conducted by third parties to ensure effective resolution and swift closure of auditing activities.

5. Ensuring reconciliation of billable hours, vacation hours, and billing to end customer on periodical basis. Submitting timely reports and tracking the cost on periodical basis.

6. Clearly communicates to a variety of audience through reports, communication, ensuring that the message is properly delivered and understood.

7. Monitor legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to financial reporting and operations.

8. Provide general counsel to the VP and Global CFO on all revenue, business and financial matters.

9. Provide support to the projects from an operational and financial standpoint.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with 7 + years' experience, including at least 2-3 years in team lead role

- Minimum of 3 years" experience within a reasonably large organization. Experience working for a US based parent company.

- Extensive, experience and knowledge in dealing with Revenue accounting as per US GAAP, budgets, internal controls, business planning. Knowledgeable on US GAAP

- Excellent command over Excel, Graphs, PPT tools.
