Job Description:

- Plan and Implement growth vision and mission

- Represent the Chairman and CEO

- Support and advice to assigned management teams both locally, regionally, globally or by function with senior management, establish strategic goals and priorities and direct/oversee their delivery.

- Set the pace for its current operations and future development.

- Determine the values to be promoted throughout the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Direct and oversee the retail operations department for the property.

- Translate property strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve targeted growth

- Oversee the execution of strategic goals and objectives for the retail department.

- Create and oversee department budget. Analyze, communicate, and recap profit and loss, monthly reports as it relates to stores/division, expense control, payroll, and profitability. Effectively make recommendations and implement changes based on an analysis.

- Identify and optimize promotional opportunities ensuring alignment with property strategy; oversee the execution of programs and initiatives in support those opportunities

- Develop merchandise forecasts and strategic plans that promote a customer-focused approach to meeting the customers- objectives

- Build a strong retail management team by advising and coaching employees and managers on development or performance issues, and through effective interviewing, hiring and training practices for retail personnel process across.

- Develop floor standards, merchandising, customer service standards, and business development.

- Review and approve proposed store layouts, visual presentations, floor moves and sales, and seasonal stock plans.

- Plan and direct execution of all retail events.

- Analyze business through company generated reports, including but not limited to reports involving store/merchandise performance, financial data, and employee data; make business decisions and implement change as needed in order to address any prevailing performance issues.

- Ensure a high level of customer service that best represents corporate and property philosophy.

- Effectively communicate to property executives, corporate retail, and store personnel any and all initiatives that involve retail.

- Manage relationships with retail vendors that engage in business with the retail division, including collaborating with corporate retail buying office and vendors to successfully plan and communicate merchandise assortments for stores.

- Develop policies and procedures for all store operations. Ensures consistency and effectiveness of policies and procedures.

- Develop, oversee execution of, and evaluate all customer service initiatives include Retail Service Standards and any other service program.

- Ensure that retail management team practices effective cost control procedures for all operating, maintenance and supply costs.

- Manage labor levels based on analysis of volume of sales and hotel occupancy.

- Liaison between Corporate leasing and lease tenants to negotiate property lease deals.

- Performs all other job related duties as requested

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications: Post Graduate in Retail Management

Experience: 8 to 15 years of experience

Skills :

- Working knowledge of business analysis, staff training, merchandise control and customer service.

- Previous management and strategic sales skills.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Able to lead and mentor a team.

- Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
