RV Capital Management - Investment Analyst/ Associate - Alternate Investment Fund (AIF)


- Leading Singapore-based hedge fund manager is seeking a dynamic professional to join its India Alternative Asset Management business.


- The hedge fund manages private investment funds with capital invested in macro themes across the Asia Pacific region. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic hedge fund as part of its India growth strategy.


- This position is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to be involved with the firm's India strategy through its maiden Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) Credit Fund, as well be part of future growth through other strategies going forward, as part of its long-term vision for India.

Position : Investment Analyst/ Associate

Exp : 4 - 9 years

Location : Mumbai

Requirement :


- Candidates must have prior experience of minimum 4 years in AIF/ Debt Fund/ Private Equity/ NBFC with a Chartered Accountancy or post-graduate (MBA or equivalent) education from reputed Tier I Business-/Engineering-Schools. End-to-End transaction closure experience from buy-side is preferable.

- Analyst/ Associate will be a key-part of the investment team that works on Performing Credit, Structured Credit mandates, from origination to closure, while playing a key role in structuring, term-sheet preparation, negotiation of terms, due-diligence, preparation of investment memo for Investment Committee, financial modelling, transaction documentation and investor monitoring.


- Responsibilities will involve co-ordination with external valuers, internal/external legal counsel/s for documentation, title search, rating agencies, trustees etc. Role will also include analyzing secondary investments in listed/traded bonds based on publicly available information.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research and investment opportunities in various industries/niches

- Meeting Founders & filtering opportunities: Analyze companies/ businesses (Founders, market, business model, and financial model) and assist in Investment decisions.

- Responsible for preparing deal-related materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations

- Preparing detailed financial models and deal evaluation

- Preparing Investment Memo for Investment committee presentation

- Term sheet drafting & negotiations

- Assist in legal & financial diligence

- Maintaining deal pipeline

- Continuous analysis of the performance of portfolio companies and their competitors and keep seniors updated on the progress.

- Prepare Presentations and assist in any communication to stakeholders of the Fund.

Required Skills/Attributes :

- Expert understanding of finance, accounting and valuation methodologies

- Ability to operate and thrive independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial/ unstructured environment

- Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.

- A high degree of initiative, motivation and attention to detail

- Proficiency in MS Office applications, like Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Teams; information systems/applications for corporate and sector information etc.
