Russell Investments - Fund Accounting Compliance Role

Joining our Fund Administration Expense Team means you will be a part of a passionate and supportive team that believes what we do matters to our clients and investors. As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for accrual analysis, fund disbursements, and reporting of the operating expenses of Russell Investment Company, Russell Investment Funds, Russell Investments Trust Company, and Russell Investments Institutional LLC Funds. Additional responsibilities include the preparation of Annual, Semi-Annual, and Quarterly Reports of the above-mentioned funds, including the Alternative Investment Funds.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications:

- CA / CPA with 2-4 years' experience would be preferred.

- MBA / MMS Finance with 3-6 years can apply for the role.

- Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934

- Excellent command over accounting

- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, knowledge of IFRS a plus

- Understanding of Fund Accounting for mutual funds, commingled funds and LLC funds; prior experience with Partnership Accounting for Alternative Investment products a plus

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Very strong tools-based knowledge including Excel, and other applicable applications in a LAN based environment

- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed to meet cyclical regulatory and ad hoc internal deadlines

- Ability to communicate on behalf of Fund Administration Management with Vendors, Auditors and internal Stakeholders

Job Responsibilities :

- Prepare and review reports related to the fund's annual operating expenses that support financial statements

- Prepare/process expense disbursements, regulatory filings, board reporting materials and any special requests

- Prepare, analyze and review Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual financial statements and related regulatory disclosure for all SEC registered, Institutional and Alternative Investment fund products (includes preparation and submission of regulatory filings such as SEC Form N-CSR, Form 1099 and 24(f)-2)

- Preparation and review of internal reports for the financial statement process

- Work directly with external service and data providers, external auditors, and multiple groups within Russell Investments to support a wide range of fund-related financial projects
