Role : - Develop strategy and action plans for all activities related to collection, Auctions and recovery and overdue / NPA loans and oversee execution while maintaining reporting and monitoring systems - Program manage entire recovery process, working cross-functionally with with CS, BO, Lender partner and banks - Create SOPs and drive new strategies where required - Identify, empanel, train &amp; retain desired 3PT at National / regional levels for supporting complementary collection - Provide technical advice &amp; expertise on debt collection procedures to management - Work with cross functional teams - minimise litigations, resolve disputes, contest matters Persona : - Must have spent Min 10 + years working in a commercial debt recovery environment with in-house collection team of banks / NBFC - Strong UG and PG background (eg. BE/B.Tech + MBA) Domains: Banking, NBFC, BFSI or professional debt collection / recovery services with experience in B2C collections / consumer or durables like Kotak, HDFC(Life), Bajaj Finance, Chit fund companies like Sriram followed by stints in fin tech startups (Preferred) Must possess High EQ &amp; integrity Skillset : - Ability to direct, manage &amp; successfully close recovery pendency buckets as per ageing, baseline, targets through internal and 3 PT agencies if required - Program Management of Auctions as per SOP / Compliance - Rigour and heavy on stakeholder mgt, process driven and Cx empathy with a metrics driven approach Other Skills: - Strong knowledge of legal mechanisms for effective collections management - Experience in knowledge and understanding of statutory obligations &amp; regulations governing auction, debt recovery and collections. - Judgement to balance commercial recovery, process and compliance - Ability to administer high standards of fiscal management, record keeping and due diligence in both internal and external teams
