Position: Regional HR Head at DGM level   Locations: Bangalore   Reporting to:   Regional Business Head - Administrative  Vice President HR - Functional   IMP NOTE :  PLEASE DO NOT POST PROFILES WITHOUT CURRENT CTC MENTIONED   BACKGROUND TO THE POSITION  - This is a HR Generalist role to support growth of the Oil Business vertical in specific region, called Hub and implementation of HR best Practices.   Candidate’s Profile:  - 2 years full time Diploma / MBA in HR from Tier II B School  - 8 - 10 years of work experience in HR out of which minimum 4 years of work experience in manufacturing environment (plant HR role). Candidates with FMCG work experience will be preferred.  - Atleast 2 years of exposure in Sales HR (Manpower Planning , Recruitment , Attrition Management , Reward & Recognition , Engagement , PMS)  Job Dimensions:  - Strategic Business Unit: A region of the soft edible oil which will have manufacturing plants, Regional office, sales force, Depots and port terminals   Employee strength – Around 1000 + contract labor  Geographical spread – One region –South India (Karnataka , Kerala , Andhra Pradesh , Part of Orissa , Tamil  Nadu and Goa)  Direct reports- 3 plant HR Heads and 2 in Regional office in HR  Key Accountabilities:  - Staffing and On Boarding  - Employee Engagement  - Performance Management and Compensation review   - Career plan and succession plan   - Rewards and Recognition  - Employee Capability Building  - Employee communication and grievance handling  - Union negotiation and statutory compliance  - Liaison and coordination with local bodies,  - Supervision and guidance to Plant HR Heads to ensure harmonious environment at Plant , managing compliances as per organization requirement & guidelines  Main interactions:  Internal:  - Regional Business Head and VP HR   - Own HR team at multiple locations  - Plant Heads and HODs at Hub  - Operation and support team  External:  - Govt.
