About the Team

The client is one the largest P&C insurers in the world. The team at RRD directly supports the onshore Global Analytics team of the client. Most of the projects are related to frequency-severity models, loss ratio models and claim analytics models. In addition to these projects, the team also supports digital analytics projects involving use of technology, machine learning, NLP techniques etc.

Role Description

We are looking for someone with strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty insurance to complement the team in analytics projects.

In this role, you are required to get involved in multiple projects through guiding and working with the team members during the entire lifecycle of the project. You would be working closely with the onshore partners in understanding the scope of the project, analyses to be performed, managing the work & deliverables, presentation of results and implementation of the models.

Traditional modeling projects typically involve use of Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) but other techniques may be also applied. Tools such as SQL, SAS, R, Python etc. are used.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance

- Statistical modeling experience using SAS or R would be an advantage

- Actuarial qualification would be an added advantage

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule

- Team's regular shift is 2.30PM to 10.30PM

- Should be flexible to extend or to come early to meet the business requirements
