1. At Operational Level Raw Material Sourcing: - Responsible for development, leading and executing procurement strategies and negotiation of contracts to maximize the benefit to organization - Attain annual procurement targets in terms of delivered volumes, AOP rates following strict alignment with GIL quality specifications. - Prepare an annual operational plan for seamless delivery of raw materials encompassing various legs as contract creation, secure credit approvals, material connectivity calendar, pricing strategy etc. - Align with prevailing best practices of the market in RM sourcing, MIS and product development. - Reviewing Vendor performance and taking corrective actions to ensure timeliness and Quality of supplies. - Should have expertise in Vendor Assessment, Vendor Selection and Vendor Management, Vendor Development and Vendor Evaluation & Capable of developing Vendors independently. - Develop new alternative sources of supply, negotiation strategy related to Purchases in line with corporate guidelines and lead negotiation to arrive at business agreements with vendors - Production Planning (Not Mandatory): Maintain active BoMs Taking MRP of short SKUs 2. At Customer Level: - Maintain raw material stock as per inventory norms at factories - Monitor RM expiry and timely align with stakeholders escalate timely to Supply planners 3. At Finance Level: - Price Forecasting & Risk Analysis - Establish material standards and budgets for planning purposes and measure actual financial performance (PPV) in conjunction with division requirements. - Drive compliance to DPO policy and strive to maximizing cash flow for GIL RPSG 4. At People Level - Liaise with factory on timely GRN of material received - Timely coordination with various stakeholders and interdepartmental functions. - Develop good repo with suppliers 5. At Strategic Level - Undertake strategic vendor development and evaluate existing vendor base through tools such as VRM etc. - Standardization/automation in the existing Reports/Dashboards - Support in NPD material arrangement, master data creation in SAP
